Channel manager

One booking closes the room on every channel.

Rooms, dorm beds, rates and restrictions stay the same on your booking page and every OTA, for one property or several.

  • LiveCalendar sync by iCal with any OTA that exports an iCal link
  • In developmentTwo-way connections with Booking.com, Agoda, Expedia, Airbnb, Trip.com, Hostelworld and Traveloka, through a channel-manager partner

DemoHow a two-way connection will behave once live; those connections are in development. Today the same rule runs by iCal, and each OTA closes the date when it next reads your calendar.

Room and rate mapping

Your rooms, matched to every listing.

Each room type and rate plan is linked once to the matching listing on each OTA. Hostel dorms are mapped per bed, so a six-bed dorm sells six beds, never the whole room.

In developmentMapping ships with each two-way connection.

Overbooking protection

Two guests, one last room: one booking.

Every sale takes its room or bed from a single count, locked while the booking is written. When two channels reach for the last unit in the same second, the first one wins and the other is refused before a guest is charged.

Rate plans and restrictions

Set the rules once, for every channel.

Rate plans with their own prices, minimum stay, closed to arrival, closed to departure and stop sell, night by night. Change a rule in Siam Booking and it goes out to every connected OTA.

In developmentiCal cannot carry rates or rules; they travel with the two-way connection.

Parity alerts

Know when a channel sells below your price.

Siam Booking compares the price each channel shows with the price on your own booking page and flags the gaps, so a guest never finds your room cheaper elsewhere than on your page by accident.

Sync log and retry

Every update, logged and retried.

Each change sent to a channel is written to a log you can read. If an OTA does not answer, the update is retried on its own; a retry never applies the same change twice. If a channel stays down, you are told.

Several properties

A guesthouse and a hostel, one login.

Run several hotels, guesthouses or hostels from one account. Each property keeps its own rooms, rates and channels, and you switch in one click. Reports across properties are in development.

Channel manager or booking engine

You need both. Only one of them costs you commission.

Channel manager

Puts your rooms on the OTAs and keeps them in step.

  • Reaches guests who search on OTAs
  • The OTA keeps its commission on each booking
  • The OTA holds the guest relationship

Direct booking engine

Your own booking page, in the same account.

  • 0% commission from us
  • Card and PromptPay, paid to you in baht
  • An AI agent answers on WhatsApp and sends the booking link

What does a channel manager do?

It keeps one version of your inventory and sends it to every site that sells your rooms. When a night is booked on one site, the channel manager lowers availability everywhere else, so the same room is never sold twice. With a two-way connection it also carries your prices and booking rules, and brings the reservation back into your calendar.

How does it stop double bookings?

Every booking, whatever channel it comes from, has to take a room or a bed from the same count for that night. That count is locked while the booking is written, so two sales can never both take the last unit. Other channels are then told the night has one unit less. With iCal the closing happens when each OTA next reads your calendar, so a small buffer on busy nights is still wise.

What is room mapping?

Mapping links each room type and rate plan in Siam Booking to the matching listing on each OTA. You do it once when a channel is connected. After that, a booking for "Deluxe double" on an OTA lands on your Deluxe sea view room, at the rate plan it was sold under.

What is the difference between iCal and a two-way connection?

iCal is a calendar file that each OTA downloads on its own schedule. Airbnb reads it roughly every three hours and a change can take up to a day to show; Booking.com reads it every two to six hours. The file only says which dates are blocked: it carries no prices, no minimum stay or other restrictions, and no guest details. A two-way connection sends availability, rates and restrictions as soon as they change, and brings each reservation back with the guest's name and stay.

Is a channel manager the same as a booking engine?

No. A channel manager sends your rooms to OTAs, and each OTA charges its commission on what it sells. A booking engine is your own booking page, where guests book you directly. Siam Booking gives you both: a booking page with zero commission from us, card and PromptPay payments in baht, and an AI agent that answers on WhatsApp and sends the booking link.

Do I need one if I sell on a single OTA?

As soon as you also take bookings on your own page, by WhatsApp or at the front desk, two places sell the same rooms. iCal sync, included today, keeps that one OTA closed when a room goes elsewhere. The two-way connection adds speed and rates once your OTA is connected.

Does it work for hostels and dorm beds?

Yes. A dorm is set up as a room with beds, and beds are sold one by one. When a bed sells on one channel, that dorm shows one bed less on the others while the remaining beds stay on sale. Mixed and female dorms are separate rooms, each with its own count.

Can I manage several properties?

Yes. One account can hold several hotels, guesthouses or hostels. Each property keeps its own rooms, rates and channel connections, and you switch between them from the top of the screen. Reports that combine several properties are in development.

Do you take a commission on OTA bookings?

No. Siam Booking is a subscription and takes no commission, on OTA bookings or on direct ones. Each OTA still charges its own commission under your contract with it. On direct bookings paid online, the only fee is the card processor's standard charge.

Which OTAs can I connect, and when?

Today, any OTA that exports an iCal link, such as Airbnb and many Booking.com listings. In development with a channel-manager partner: two-way connections with Booking.com, Agoda, Expedia, Airbnb, Trip.com, Hostelworld and Traveloka. There are no dates yet; contact us and we will tell you when yours is live.
